Welcome to Translational Mechanomedicine Lab

Translational Mechanomedicine Lab @ Nanjing University was established in late 2021. Principal Investigators include Prof. JIANG Qing and Assoc. Prof. CAI Pingqiang (affiliated with Medical School & Chemistry and Biomedicine Innovation Center). TML focuses on the fundamental and translational research on musculoskeletal disorders, and the primary areas of interest are 1) Mechanically complex disease models of motor systems, 2) Digital prognosis & prevention of motor disorders, and 3) Regeneration & reinforcement of human motor systems. Interdisciplinary TML is involved in the frontiers of sports medicine, mechanobiology, expansion microscopy,  flexible electronics, soft actuators, etc.    

南京大学“转化力学医学实验室”(Translational Mechanomedicine Lab)于2021年底成立，现有PI包括：医学院副院长蒋青教授，蔡平强副教授(医学院及化学和生物医药创新研究院双聘)。TML聚焦运动系统疾病的基础和转化研究，积极响应我国通过发展“医工交叉融合”来拓展生命健康领域，服务国人健康国家重大战略需求。TML的研究兴趣包括：1) 复杂力学微环境集成的运动系统疾病模型 2) 运动机能的智能监测与疾病诊疗 3) 运动系统的再生与增强。研究课题涉及运动医学、力学生物学、膨胀显微技术、柔性电子学、柔性驱动器等前沿领域
